"I launched Come To Win-Sports in 2021 as owner/president of the next generation of recreation sports tournaments. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in the sports leadership program at Concordia University Chicago. I strive to keep the athlete in me by working in the fields of strength and conditioning, personal training, group fitness, and physical therapy, where I am able to demonstrate my knowledge of exercise science to current and former athletes.

 

Previously, I was the recreation assistant at Richton Park recreation center, graduate assistant of intramural sports at Western Illinois University, and sports supervisor for the Jewish Community Center-Camp Chi (JCC). As a recreation assistant, I created community outreach sporting events and high school sports leagues. As a graduate assistant, I served as a co-supervisor, training recreational staff to officiate a multitude of sports offered through the campus recreation center. As a sports supervisor, I oversaw all athletic programs and athletic facilities. 

My passion for sports started during my youth football days and extended through my NCAA college tenure. The passion for hosting sports events came from my time volunteering at sports camps in college and working as a volunteer to the football staff at Western Illinois University, as a graduate student. The thirst for competition has been engrained in me since birth coming from a family that loves to play games of all sorts and compete and win by any means necessary. 

I hold membership and serve as the membership administrator for the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport (NASSS). I hold a B.S. in Exercise Science and M.S. in Sport Management from Western Illinois University."
